Top LinkedIn Tips for 2013 – Tip Three

topthreelinkedinSo now you have a personalized URL.  Your headline is grabbing attention.

Today, we’re going to uncover the Pot ‘O Gold in Linkedin, recommendations.

LinkedIn Recommendations are the best social proof you can get.  Not only are you being recommended for your Rockstar talents, but the recommend-er is easily contacted.  While I’m not AT ALL saying that testimonials on your website aren’t valuable, they ARE, they’re you accumulating stuff other people are saying about you.  On LinkedIn, those same testimonials have more weight, because they’re linked right to the person offering the recommendation.

Take a look at this video for some ideas on how to beef up your recommendations.

All your LinkedIn tips were great! I haven’t used LinkedIn at all so far for my business but the more I learn, the more I realize what a good opportunity I’m missing. Thanks for the info and now off to (try) and put it into practice 🙂
