About This Episode & Highlights:
Why Posting on LinkedIn Before the New Year Matters
The last week of December brings a unique shift in energy on LinkedIn.
Decision-makers are scrolling.
Opportunities are forming.
People are reflecting and planning what’s next.
This is a time when thoughtful, honest posts often receive higher engagement than they do at any other point in the year. Showing up now allows you to enter January already visible, already leading, and already trusted.
The 5 LinkedIn Posts to Write Before January 1
1. Your Biggest Lesson of the Year
Share one meaningful lesson from the past year. Keep it short and honest. This type of post demonstrates emotional intelligence, self-awareness, and growth—key qualities of strong thought leadership.
2. A Win You’re Proud Of
This is your permission to celebrate yourself. Choose one win, moment, or accomplishment that mattered to you. Women often downplay their success, but visibility requires letting others see your impact.
3. A Thought You Want to Lead With in 2026
This post positions you as a thought leader. What belief, idea, or truth do you want to be known for in the coming year? Midlife is a power era for women, and this is your chance to name what you stand for.
4. What You’re No Longer Carrying Into the New Year
This is a deeply relatable and high-performing topic on LinkedIn. Share what you are choosing to release—old expectations, outdated roles, or beliefs that no longer serve you.
5. A Message for Women Reinventing in 2026
This is the client-magnet post. Speak directly to women who are reinventing or stepping into a new chapter. Offer reassurance, wisdom, or perspective that reflects lived experience—not hustle.
Examples include:
You’re not starting over. You’re starting from experience.
You’re not too late. You’re right on time.
How These Posts Build Authority and Attract Opportunities
Each of these LinkedIn posts works because they:
Build visibility without self-promotion
Establish emotional authority and credibility
Invite conversation and connection
Position your lived experience as leadership
Together, they help you start the year already confident, already visible, and already in demand.
A Simple Posting Tip
You can schedule these posts in advance, but don’t disappear after posting. Engagement matters. Respond to comments, join conversations, and allow your visibility to work for you.

Karen Yankovich 00:00
Karen, welcome to this special bonus episode of the rich woman reset. I’m your host, Karen
Yankovich, and today I’m giving you something practical, five simple, powerful LinkedIn posts
you can write before January 1 to position yourself for a wildly successful 2026 these posts
build authority and visibility and confidence, and they take less than five minutes each. So let’s
talk a little bit about why these posts matter. You know, the reality is, there’s often a spike in
engagement. Post on LinkedIn in the last week of December. People are kind of quietly
planning their next move. Decision makers are scrolling opportunities open and they’re posting
new positions, you know, front of the conversation for the new year, right? So these five posts
create instant credibility without overthinking. So I’m going to just kind of spit these out, and
then you can kind of make them your own. And obviously we have show notes that will list
them all as well. So the first one you can post is your biggest lesson of 2025 short, honest,
insightful, just show a little emotional intelligence and self awareness, right? You know, just talk
a little bit about what your biggest lesson is. Post number two, a win that I’m proud of, right?
It’s, it’s letting people see the good. It’s, it’s, it’s celebrating the amazing things, the amazing
work that you do, and it’s especially important for women who downplay themselves, right? So
a win that I’m proud of, it can be simple. One moment this year that shifted everything for me
was post number three, a thought I want to lead with in 2026 this is like psychologically
positioning you as a thought leader, visibility as well. Midlife is a power era for women, right?
What thought Do you want to lead with as you step into the new year and just create a little
post around that? Post number four, this is a big one. This is an important one. What I’m no
longer carrying into 2026 this is deeply relatable, and this is a high performing topic, right? So
what are you leaving in the old year and not bringing with you into the new year? And post
number five, if you’re reinventing in 2026 read this. This is the client magnet, right? So write a
shift or a truth or reassurance, right? You’re not too late. You’re right on time. Think these
things that I might say, right? Your next chapter is built from the wisdom of all the chapters
before it. You’re not starting from scratch. You’re starting from experience, right? It builds
emotional authority and it attracts interest in what you do, right? And if writing these posts feel
good, imagine having a whole strategy, community and support system wrapped around your
visibility. That’s exactly what you get inside the visibility salon. You deserve a place where
showing up is easy and powerful and supported, and you can join us for a week for free. Check
it out in the notes below. So here’s what I want you to draw. Me to use these posts to step into
January. Already visible, already confident, already leading. You can schedule them. I do want
you to go in there and engage with people, though, if you’re going to post, you don’t want to
post and disappear, right? But you can schedule them so you don’t remember to do it. And I will
see you in our final rich woman reset episode, where you are going to declare your energy for
the new year. You.
