[00:00] Why Constant Visibility Is Burning You Out

Karen: Welcome to another episode of Good Girls Get Rich. I’m Karen Yankovich, and every week I’m here to help you take control of your destiny—because I want there to be more wealthy women in the world.

Today, I want to talk about a version of success that looks really good on the outside: consistent posting, always visible, always “on.”

But behind the scenes? It’s exhausting.

We’ve been taught that if we want to stay relevant, we have to stay visible. And if we want to stay visible, we have to stay consistent.

But somewhere along the way, we started making “consistent” mean “constant.” And those are not the same thing.

“Consistency is not the same thing as constantly proving you deserve to be seen.”

[02:35] Why LinkedIn Works Differently

Karen: The advice to “post every day” usually comes from influencer culture—Instagram, TikTok, all of that.

But LinkedIn is different.

LinkedIn is a search-based credibility platform. It’s where people research you, vet you, and decide whether you’re someone they want to hire, collaborate with, or invest in.

I always tell my team: nobody logs into my LinkedIn except me. If you get a message from me on LinkedIn, it’s really me.

Your next client is far more likely to read your LinkedIn profile than your last ten posts.

So if someone looked you up today:

  • Does your profile reflect who you are now?
  • Does it show the level of authority you want to be known for?
  • Does it close the gap between where you are and where you’re going?

[04:45] The Real Reason Visibility Collapses

Karen: Life gets busy. Visibility starts to disappear. And then we shame ourselves for it.

But the problem isn’t that you’re lazy or inconsistent.

The problem is that you’ve built a visibility strategy that depends entirely on your mood, your energy, and your availability.

That creates a content-only ecosystem:

  • If you don’t post, nobody sees you.
  • If nobody sees you, momentum disappears.
  • Then you start over from scratch.

That boom-and-bust cycle is exactly what leads to burnout.

[06:20] Authority Assets Matter More Than More Content

Karen: What works better than posting nonstop is building authority assets.

Authority assets are things like:

  • Podcast interviews
  • Press features
  • Case studies
  • Searchable credibility
  • Testimonials and recommendations

For example, if you record four podcast interviews in February, they may be released over the next few months.

So even if April gets hectic, your visibility keeps working for you.

Monday: Authority Alignment

Karen: Spend 15–20 minutes reviewing your LinkedIn profile.

Ask yourself:

  • Does my headline reflect my current authority?
  • Does my About section speak to who I serve now?
  • Is my Featured section updated?

Then send two intentional messages.

Maybe:

  • “Saw this and thought of you.”
  • “Loved your recent post.”
  • “I’d love to reconnect.”

Tuesday: Strategic Content

Karen: Create one thoughtful piece of content.

Try:

  • An unpopular opinion
  • A personal story with a lesson
  • A pattern you’re seeing with clients

The goal is not volume. The goal is precision.

“Your expertise is what attracts premium clients—not random engagement.”

Wednesday: Strategic Commenting

Karen: If you only do one thing this week, comment on other people’s posts.

Comment on 5–10 posts and add something meaningful.

Don’t say “Great post.”

Instead, say:

  • “I love this perspective, and here’s what I’ve seen…”
  • “I agree with this, but I’d add…”
  • “This reminds me of a client situation…”

Because when people see your comment, they click your profile.

And your profile is where the real opportunity happens.

[13:30] Thursday and Friday Visibility Moves

Thursday: One Authority Move

Karen: Spend 15–30 minutes doing one thing that builds credibility.

Examples:

  • Pitch yourself to a podcast
  • Submit yourself for a media opportunity
  • Write a LinkedIn article
  • Update a case study or testimonial

When other people feature you, you borrow their authority.

Friday: Keep It Light

Karen: Friday is optional.

Celebrate a client.
Share something behind the scenes.
Reshare a lesson.

Low-lift still counts.

And if you only do two of these things in a week?

You are still consistent.

[16:00] Think Like a Million-Dollar Business Owner

Karen: Your LinkedIn profile is your conversion hub.

Make sure it includes:

  • Keywords in your headline
  • Clear positioning
  • Recommendations
  • A strong Featured section
  • A way to book a call

You do not need ten different things in your Featured section.

You need one or two powerful next steps.

[18:20] Visibility That Compounds

Karen: Google yourself.

What shows up?

Are there podcast interviews, articles, guest appearances, or speaking engagements?

Because when people are thinking about hiring you, they research you.

And visibility compounds when your credibility exists beyond this week’s content.

Karen: There is nothing wrong with you if you’ve struggled to stay visible.

You’ve simply been trying to follow a model that was never designed for the way women actually live.

The old model rewards nonstop output.

But the kind of visibility that builds wealth, influence, and freedom is different.

It’s strategic.
It’s sustainable.
It gives your work room to breathe.
